Shyam Pathak is an Indian television actor. He made his debut from Rajendra in NDTV Imagine TV Show ‘Jasuben Jayantilaal Joshi Ki Joint family’. After that, he came into limelight for playing the role of Dheeraj Mehta inside the show ‘Sukh By Chance’ which aired on Sony Tv. Currently, he is performing the role of Popatlal in SAB television comedy show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’.
Biography
Shyam Pathak was born on 6 June 1976 in Gujrat. He hails from a simple middle-class Gujarati family. His mother wants to he studied and cleared the exam for CA course, but he was not interested in this field and then he joined the National School of Drama to achieve his goal. He got married to Reshami and also Reshami was his classmate at the National School of Drama.
Career
He has been performing in the comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah which airs on the SAB TV channel. He plays the role of Patrakar Popatlal Pandey, an elderly bachelor who works as a crime reporter for a newspaper named “Toofan Express”.
