She is best recognized for her role of ‘Aai’ in Ekta Kapoor’s Indian famous show Kkusum & again, she became more popular as ‘Sulochana Karanjkar’ in Ekta Kapoor’s show ‘Pavitra Rishta.’ Currently, she is seen in Life Ok daily soap ‘Inteqam Ek Masoom Ka‘.

Her father turned into the doctor at Wai their local location district Satara. After Doordarshan Savita began her career by way of playing small roles in Marathi film & Hindi film industry in the early 90’s.
