Karan Patel was born on 23rd November 1983 in Calcutta, India. He is a skilled actor and famous face in an entertainment industry. His father Nishit Patel is a businessman in Gujrat. He has completed his schooling from Utpal Sanghvi College and later completed his graduation from Mithibai university. Karan Patel got engaged on 14 March 2015 to Ankita Bhargava and later he got married to her on 3 May 2015 in a Gujarati style. He has also been one of the contestants of Nach Baliye three along with Amita Chnadekar.

After finishing his graduation he begins learning acting course from Kishore Namit Kapoor’s acting College and London school of Arts, UK. After completing his acting course from the UK, he back to India and start his profession in the entertainment industry. He commenced to give audition and turned into decided on as an actor in Popular Star Plus Tv show Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki from in which he was started out to remember. He made his debut in Bollywood with the movie ‘City of Gold’ in 2010 and after that, he also worked in Shootout at Wadala movie.
