Deepika Padukone is a popular Indian actress who worked in many Hindi films. She made her first screen appearance with a Himesh Reshammiya’s music video “Naam Hai Tera” which was released in 2005. After that in 2006, she signed Kannada film Aishwarya in which she played the lead role, the movie received mixed response. In 2007, Deepika Padukone was featured in a Farah Khan’s movie Om Shanti Om, in which she essayed dual roles opposite a popular actor of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan. Her movie became super duper hit and she came into limelight. Deepika won her first Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for the movie Om Shanti Om and gained huge appreciations of critics and viewers. Her Bollywood films Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Chennai Express were the highest grossing movies of that year and she won many awards for these movies. In 2013 she won Filmfare Award for Best Actress for the movie Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela in which she played the role of Leena opposite Ranveer Singh. Her performance in the movie Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela was commendable and both lead actor and actress started dating after the success of the movie. This sizzling Jodi was once again signed in Bajirao Mastani movie which was based on Maratha ruler and it was also the highest-grossing Bollywood films. In 2014, Deepika Padukone appeared in the Tamil animated movie Kochadaiiyaan, the movie was shot using motion capture technology. In the same year, she was featured in the Farah Khan’s movie Happy New Year. This is a multi-starer movie in which she played the role of Mohini who is bar dancer. Happy New Year movie collected ₹3.4 billion box office collection. After the hot and sizzling role she was signed for the movie Piku in 2015, in which she was appeared in the nonglamorous role and won her second Filmfare award for Best Actress. Piku movie was directed by Shoojit Sircar and the whole star cast of the movie is Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Irrfan Khan, Moushumi Chatterjee and Jisshu Sengupta. She was last seen in the Hollywood movie xXx: Return of Xander Cage which was released in 2017. This was her first Hollywood project and she played important role in the movie.
