Biography
Akshay Kumar became born on September 9, 1967, in Amritsar, Punjab, India. Akshay was brought up in Delhi and then shifted to Mumbai. He completed his schooling from Don Bosco School, Mumbai. Later he did his graduation from Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Mumbai. When he became young, he received a black belt in Taekwondo and similarly went to study Muay Thai martial artwork in Bangkok, Thailand. He also worked as a chef and a waiter there. In 2008 he was awarded Rajiv Gandhi Award for his Bollywood achievements and Honorary Doctorate of Law by University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. In 2009, Akshay Kumar and he have received the Padma Shri Award from the Government of India. He got married to beautiful Bollywood actress Twinkle Khanna, who is the daughter of famous actor Rajesh Khanna and actress Dimple Kapadia. The couple has two children named Aarav and Nitara.

Till now he has appeared in 8 films which have the term ‘Khiladi’ in the title, known as ‘Khiladi Series’ as well as He was seen in all films of “Khiladi series”.
